Meet Dave Duke, Certified Mortgage Advisor

Hey friends, I'm Dave Duke, a Pacific Northwest transplant who has made Utah my home for the past 30 years. With my wife, Elaine, we have raised our six children, all adults now, in Eagle Mountain, Utah for the past 25 years where we have been involved in the community, mostly by supporting our kids as part of the Westlake HS Band program, especially the Marching Thunder. After the gradution of our kids, we have continued to support the marching bands in state by serving on the Utah State "Red Rocks" State Championships committee each year.

Elaine is an elementary school teacher and I have been a mortgage loan originator for the past 25+ years, working in national and regional banks, a state-wide mortgage bank, and now as mortgage broker. I enjoy my career and the chance to help others with the largest financial purchase of their lives and, more importantly, the place that they will be calling home. I am a student of the industry, adding the Certified Mortgage Advisor (CMA) designation in 2022 to go along with my degree in Business Management (International Business emphasis and minor in Spanish) from Utah Valley University. I am currently persuing an MBA at Western Governors University with plans to granduate in 2027.

I enjoy reading a good book, mostly historical fiction and biographies, and anything sports related, especially when it's my beloved Seahawks, Mariners, and BYU Cougars. As a "PNW" native, my first sports love was Washington Huskies football. Elaine and I also enjoy traveling and our refrigerator is full of magnets from the places we've visited--something our now 6 grandchildren love to play with--and our family room walls full of prints from those same locations. We try to get to at last two never-been-visited-by-us Major League Baseball parks each spring and summer with our favorites Wrigley Field and Fenway Park, along with T-Mobile Park, home of our Mariners!
